We hope everyone is having a great summer and we just wanted to let you know about some upcoming events.

OFFICER ELECTIONS

Our election of officers will be Friday, August 5 at 6:00 pm at our new arena.  The club will provide the meat and drinks for our meal.  Each family is asked to bring a side dish or something for your sweet tooth.  This is an exciting time in the life of our club.  BE A PART OF THE DECISIONS BEING MADE ABOUT OUR BEAUTIFUL RIDING FACILITIES.

ARENA

The arena is almost complete.  You can ride on weekends only because of construction during the week.  Stay to the right as you enter the property and please do not park on the arena pad.  Be sure not to run over any stakes or markers.  The combination to the gate is 2121.

YOUTH SERIES

Our last show is Friday, August 12, 2005.  This is the night that all the awards are given out to all the cowgirls and cowboys who have worked so hard.  It is great to see their eyes light up when they see they have won.  Come out and join the fun.

ROPING SERIES

Our next roping is August 20, 2005.
This is also a great event to rope in or just come watch.  Two beautiful saddles will be given away to the top ropers at the end of this event.

SCHOLARSHIP TRAIL RIDE FUNDRAISER

Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25, 2005 Diane's Mom and Dad have graciously offered their ranch for this event.  Our club will provide Saturday lunch and dinner with a live auction that night.  Donations are being accepted now to auction off.  This is always a great time for everyone.  Sunday morning breakfast will also be provided.  Our club proudly awarded four scholarships this year to students entering an agriculture-related field of study.  Even if you do not ride, be sure to join in the fun on Saturday night for the food and fellowship.
